Preaching school

Currently, we are conducting Bible classes once in a week for the preachers, denominational people and Bible students. We are providing lunch and traveling charges who attend the classes. Because of these classes 7 preachers have been converted to the true church and have begun working with us.

It is better to teach subjects deeply .we have to start the school with new students for every 1 year. I think it is sufficient period.

NEEDS & FUTURE PLANS

‘God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and love you have shown him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.’ - Hebrews 6:10

Gospel Meetings

We want to conduct at least one major gospel meeting in every year (3 days). Each meeting may cost 600 US$ minimum. We need people who can sponsor 3-day gospel meetings.

Support for Preachers

We want sponsors to sponsor monthly preacher’s fellowship and preacher’s workshop annually. To help the preachers and evangelists every month we need monthly support at least 150 US $ each.

Church Planting

We need 10,000 US$ to construct the one church building every year. In certain villages, we are trying to construct ‘church buildings’ for down trodden people in the society.

Future Plan

We want to establish one Bible College. We need funding to purchase a lot and construct buildings for school and orphanages. Please pray and extend your kind support.

NEEDS & FUTURE PLANS

WELCOME TO GIDDALUR CHURCH OF CHRIST

WELCOME TO INDA CHURCH OF CHRIST

We, the members of the church of Christ – the only church for which Jesus died and shed His blood -, do all according to His authority. We accept the apostles teaching offered to the members of the church in the first century and on the day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:42, 47). The church of Christ was established on the day of Pentecost (AD 33). This day occurred following Christ’s resurrection and was held in the city of Jerusalem, and according to Old Testament Prophecy.
The prophets Isaiah and Micah foretold, “Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, ‘Come, and let us go to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us his ways, and we shall walk in His paths’” (Isaiah 2:2; Micah 4:1). The expression “Lord’s house” refers to the church (1Tim 3:15). When Peter answered Christ’s question concerning who His disciples thought He was, Christ promised that – upon the rock of the truth (that He was God) in Peter’s answer: “You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God” (Matt 16:16) – He would build His church (Matt 16:18). It is clear, therefore, that Christ is the founder of the Church and our purpose is to build this true Church (Matt 16:18; 1Cor 3:11; Eph 2:20-22).
As members of the church of Christ, we wear Christ’s name in congregations around the world; Christ established it, He shed His own blood to purchase it, and reigns as head over it (Ephesians 1:22; Colossians 1:18). We are not, therefore, part of any denomination; we belong only to the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
According to the Bible’s authority, therefore, we have no earthly headquarters, and belong or participate in no universal organization. The church of Christ is universal – we have family around the world -, each congregation is autonomous (or ‘self –ruled’), and are independent of every other congregation. The church often cooperates with one another in the accomplishment of good works, but individual autonomy is carefully maintained. The church’s pattern is divine in origin. Jesus Christ is recognized as the superior ruler over the church for which He died. “And He is the head of the body, the Church, who is the beginning of the firstborn from the dead that in all things He may have the preeminence (Col 1:18).

No man serves as the earthly head over the church. Christ has, however, delegated authority in the management of the local congregation to the elders, pastors, or bishops – three different terms referring to the same office (Acts 20:17, 28: Eph 4:11; 1Tim 3:1; Tit 1:5). There must be plurality of elders in every congregation (Acts 11:30; 14:23). The church of Christ also has a special group of men called deacons. They serve under the direction of the elders (I Timothy 3:8-13). Additionally, the church of Christ also has men known as preachers (1Tim 4:5; 2:7), ministers (1Tim 4:6), or evangelists (II Tim 4:5) and also serve under the direction of the elders of the local congregation. We do not refer to our preachers as “Pastor,” believing that this term as used in the New Testament refers to those who have the oversight of the congregation (i.e., elders).

We worship God in spirit and truth as demonstrated by the early church in the first century (John 4:24; Acts2:42). We find Biblical authority and instructions regarding five items of worship, and these we attempt to follow:
(1) Teaching and / or preaching (Acts 20:7);
(2) Praying (1Thess 5:17);
(3) Contributing to the Lord’s work (2Cor 9:7);
(4) Singing (1Cor 14:15; Eph 5:19; Col 3:16; Heb 2:12; Heb 13:15; James 5:13); and
(5) Partaking of the Lord’s supper on each first day of the week (Mt 26:26-28; 1Cor 11:24-25; Acts 20:7).

Such pattern is set by the New Testament and stands as the authority for our worship.

When ensuring obedience to the commands of the New Testament, members of the church of Christ find Biblical evidence for the specific change, understanding, and obedience process which must be taken. God’s word teaches that this process brings about salvation and at the same time God adds the saved to the only church for which Christ died (Acts 2:47).

(1) Hearing (Rom 10:17): one must read the word of God before he or she can weigh the evidence of the Gospel’s truths;

(2) Faith (Hebrews 11:6): “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that he is (information), and that He is a rewarder (trust) of those who diligently seek Him(obedience)” (italicized words added by editor). It is important to note that faith is made up of three elements –information, trust, and obedience. This complete faith is essential to salvation (Mark 16:16; John 8:24; 20:30-31: Heb 11:6);

(3) Repentance (Acts 2:38; 3:19; 17:30): the product of an humble heart, understanding, and faith, repentance is the process of turning away from all sin and turning toward God. This is required for salvation;

(4) Confession (Matt 10:32; Romans 10:9-10): the open proclamation of our conviction that a) Jesus is the living Son of God; b) our commitment to live according to that conviction; and c) our dedicated service to Him until death.

(5) Baptism (Mark16:16; Acts2:38; 22:16): the process of full immersion in water, in the name of Christ for the remission of sin, is required by the head of the church, Jesus Christ. The New Testament teaches that baptism is an act of submission which is essential to salvation.

We are humbly grateful to God for this opportunity to introduce you to the kingdom of God (John 3:3-5) and invite you to read the lessons on this site, verify the accuracy by using our only authority - God's word, the Bible – , and contact us for more information and assistance in understanding and obeying the only process whereby you can spend eternity with your Father in heaven.

WE NEED HELP

CHURCH PLANTING FOR POOR PEOPLE

I will build my Church", said our Lord. (MATT: 16:18)

The Church is the primary agency of the Kingdom of God on earth. Churches are God's strategy for evangelizing the unevangelized.

By the Church of Christ in India, strategies for planting churches among the unreached people groups in India, transforming the interior rurals & tribals by the power of the Gospel. "A Church among every people and the Gospel to every person" is our vision. "To plant Churches that plant Churches and to cultivate mission active churches"(Mark16:15) is our goal.

To reach our vision & goal, we are covering every unevangelised village, even in the dangerous jungles also. Many villages where we have been conducting our Church Services are very backward areas; and even some of those villages have no road facilities, and we have to walk about 15 to 25 kilometers through the terrible zigzag jungle routes. ships. Often, our missionaries use the COW-SHEDS as the church gathering places --worship centers-- as we have no permanent places to worship in. Hence, we are facing many troubles in our worships irrespective of the summer, winter and rainy seasons.

In His grace, the Lord is blessing our Church Planting Ministry, and our missionaries and field workers (evangelists, and preachers) are success in reaching out many unreached people groups, through various outreach programs and door-to-door evangelism. Every day and week many souls are added in the Kingdom of God, and thus the Churches are being established in many remote forest areas also. It is amazing to see some believers gather together under some trees also in the jungles to worship the Lord with overwhelmed joy of salvation.

Please join your hearts in praying for the construction of some Church buildings, as many of our village churches services are being operated in some small huts, temporary tents, thatched with palm leaves etc., All these tribal & rural churches are in need of some permanent construction. We are praying God to send PRASAD who can bless with their kind help in constructing the church centers in the villages. We are in the urgent need of construction of 3 churches in different parts of Andhra Pradesh, India. In four different villages, and two semi urban areas, we are in need of purchasing the land for Church construction. In three villages, the thatched church constructions are immediately needed the repairs or permanent church buildings. Please invest your money in God's Kingdom.

We follow certain strategies in reaching the unreached tribe or village, before we establish a Christ Worship Center among them. Please contact us for more details on this Church Planting Programme. We urge you to become our Faith Partner in this important church planting work in the remote regions of India.

OUR NEEDS: Please become our Faith Partner, and support us to reach our goal of evangelizing the unevangelized through our Out-reach & Door-to-Door Ministries. We are in need of some bicycles, to use in our interior village outreach ministry. Each bicycle cost about $70 US. You can enable our village evangelists to work more effectively and to cover many villages, with your gift of one bicycle, as most of our evangelists do not have bicycles, and doing the out reach by foot.

You also can be a part of our Outreach & Door-to-Door evangelism by sponsoring our evangelistic team to go and cover at least one unevangelized village for Christ. We need 350 US$ to cover one entire village, through gospel tracts, door-to-door evangelism, witnessing, street evangelism and evening gospel meetings etc.,

You can not go to every village, but our evangelists and Out-reach missionaries can go. Please send us to the unreached interior villages, on behalf of you. We also invite you to come and serve the lost along with us, on short-term missionary trip. You can really become a great tool of blessing in many live

requesting for bibles

God has given His church a three - fold work to do.

1. Evangelism – preaching the gospel
2. Edification – teaching and building up the saved
3. Benevolence – helping the needy as opportunity presents itself

we are trying our best to do the first TWO THINGS. And the THIRD one with the help of kind hearted personalities like you. I praise God He is wonderfully working through people to implement His will. The Gospel Advancement Alliance of India distributes the Holy Bibles to the poorest people, who are unable to afford a single copy of the Bible, for their personal or family use.

The daily income of a poorest person in the rural & tribal India is a maximum of 40 to 50 rupees (about One US Dollar) which he earn for his labour work. He has to meet the needs of his entire family with the smallest income (daily wage), which is not sufficient to provide the needed food even to his little children also. In this position, it is very difficult task for a poorest rural & tribal person to purchase a copy of the Bible in his own dialect. To meet this need, the GAAI have started this Free Bible Distribution Programme, to provide the Holy Bibles to the poor believers in the remote areas. Many villagers, now, have their own Bibles in their houses (mud-huts). In some villages, the villagers gather together to hear the Bible, while one person read out aloud for all of them. The reason is, that no other person in the village do have the Bible, and also most of the villagers are illiterates and can not read or write. So, they hear the Bible while one person read it out for them, in the evenings.

Hence, we are providing the Holy Bibles to the poorest needy, free of Charge. We have many incidents when the people wept aloud when they receive the Bible from us. We also can see the true value & honor of the Bible as many villagers, dare not even to touch the Bible with dirty hands, as they treat it as the image of God.

The Indian Bible Literature and the Bible Promoters of India have provided the Telugu Holy Bibles to us at subsidized cost. We distributed more than 800 Holy Bibles during the past 15 months. Out of these, 500 Bibles were sponsored by the Church of Christ Ministries. The rest of the Bibles were collected from various individuals by the local churches.

Please pray and help us, as we are in need of many Holy Bibles, for the distribution among the poor. At present, we distributed Telugu Bibles in many interior villages. We have many requests for the Bibles in Telugu language. Please donate a Bible to one poor family.

To be frank, there are hundreds of villages are in the great need of the Bibles. It is sad to say that even some village pastors and evangelists also do not have a good Bible for their personal or ministerial use.

Your loving brother in Christ
